This organizer was perfect for my cutlery drawer, the only one that had everything I needed. The plastic is durable and can be washed in the dishwasher. (I did it, and it worked out fine.) It consists of three parts: the main part with six compartments; plus two side panels that are placed under the main panel and can be retracted or extended depending on the drawer width. My drawer only fits one side, but there is still plenty of room for cutlery. I have 12 forks, spoons and knives in the main compartment's five vertical compartments. There are 12 of these in each compartment, so there's plenty of cutlery. I put serving spoons and forks in the back compartment. In the extension cord I put a set of special spoons, forks and knives - butter knives, soup and sugar spoons and cocktail forks. I regret that I hadn't thought about tidying up the drawer sooner because it looked utterly run down compared to how it looks now.
