Why buy double wall coffee mugs? Because you like it when your drink stays hotter for longer. The reason ceramic mugs don't keep coffee hot as long is because heat is transmitted through the surface. Ceramic conducts heat better than double-walled glass, allowing more heat to escape. I find that 5-10 minutes after pouring my tea I still have to blow on the drink to cool it down. In addition, these glasses are attractive. The slope at the bottom of the glass is beautiful --- and watching the cream mix into my coffee is great. These glasses are perfect for my large hands. After I move into my new apartment I will probably buy another set, I love them so much.
