My first experience with an ESR iPad screen protector was less than ideal for a number of reasons. (Note: I've been using the iPhone version of their product for a number of years and really like it.) I approached installing the iPad protector the same way I did the iPhone version, wipe the screen down with a damp cloth. Wipe the screen with a dry cloth and remove the dust that has accumulated on the screen. Place the included blue frame on the iPad, remove the new screen protector from the case, remove the back cover, and then align the screen protector with the iPad using the frame as a guide. Let the protective film touch the screen and gently remove any bubbles that form between the screen and the protective film by pressing in the center of the screen. Well, that's where the setup went south. The bezel wasn't perfectly aligned with the iPad, it was imperfect so the edge alignment wasn't even around the perimeter of the iPad, so I gently lifted the edge to allow for realignment, which really helped. However, there were more bubbles that needed to be removed, but they were very stubborn and prevented the protective film from sticking to the screen. Long story short, I tried to line up and remove the bubbles but I couldn't so I took off the protector and threw it away. I started from scratch and used the second protector in the pack. This application ran much better, but the bezel was still imperfect so the edge alignment isn't perfect, but I was able to remove any bubbles during installation by being patient and working to slowly move the bubbles towards the edge of the tread until they were gone. . Overall I was happy with the end results but not with the time it took to complete the installation. However, when they informed ESR of my disappointment, they did not hesitate to issue me a replacement kit - a complete kit - immediately. They apologized for the issues I was having and hoped I would continue using their products. As such, they deserve four stars for their due diligence and proactive response to client needs. As well as the protector's ability to absorb damage that would otherwise damage the screen.
