These jars and metal lids are good. I had a problem with labels and shaker lids. The inscriptions are made in the style of the "tablet". That's good, but the manufacturer is too broad to write on and tying it to a spice name longer than 5 letters is nearly impossible. So basil, thyme and salt will do, but forget to write tarragon, pepper or Italian spices on them, you can't. I ended up just making my own using maker and paper and attaching them with tape. The board will also get dirty if you touch it with wet hands. Bad at cooking. Another issue I had was with the actual shaker lids. The holes are all the same size. Good for salt and pepper or other medium sized spices, but not so good for larger spices like tarragon or other larger flaked spices. I took a rotary knife and enlarged the whole thing myself. The jars and metal lids are beautiful and look beautiful. It would be nice if the labels and caps were more practical.
