You get what you pay for.
The cases I received looked very similar to other people's paintings - the canvas is much darker than the handles. It was a faint odor that dissipated over time. I was afraid to wash them because the handles were already a bit worn when they arrived. Other than that they did exactly what I expected them to do and as I'm pretty sure none of our guests left them after taking them home the quality wasn't a big issue. I painted the design on each bag with fabric paint and they were cute and held our welcome items perfectly.
