I've bought several PetFusion products in the past and they've been quite well designed and made. A bit expensive, but quality and functionality convinced me. I bought this cat litter cleaner because I have an older cat that has kidney problems so her clumps of urine are quite large even after the treatment. However, I use a clay filler that cements. to the shovel, so I was hoping this would help reduce the daily soaking and cleaning of the shovel. Unfortunately, the silicone bristles are too soft to remove dirt even when wet. Also, the small ledge to step on when using the device is actually too small to really stabilize the device during use, and you end up lifting the entire device off the ground by a few inches when you use the shovel pulls out. This might work better if you use a different type of filler (less "sticky"), but then you probably won't need it because your shovels aren't a sticky mess. I can't comment on how easy it is to clean as I haven't really used it. For me it was a waste of money.
