The box is really cute and I needed it last minute so buying it on Amazon Prime with an Etsy-like date box seemed perfect! When I received the box, the lid was curved outwards. . It no longer fits in the box, making it look cheap. The tree species used was never specified in the description, but can be compared to a cork oak tree. just very light and fluffy, almost. This would not be a problem but this type of wood warps easily compared to heavier wood and the product may not have been properly cared for before and during shipment. This is a very pretty box. And the cards he brought were fine and seem great. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the condition of the lid. This review is also my only experience and I have not looked at other reviews with similar issues. But order with caution if it's a gift and you need it at the last minute.
