Review on SEW Link Flat Felled Foot 4131855 45 by Linda Diaz

This presser foot works great on thick jeans. I haven't tried it on light material yet. The website said "Guaranteed to fit Viking sewing machine models." I don't have a Viking machine but with a few minor modifications I got it working on a Singer 4411. I had an extra low shank Singer style presser foot adapter that was accidentally sent to me when I ordered a high shank adapter for some other machines. Modifications render the adapter unusable for any other use. The Singer-compatible adapter is too wide to fit the .021 thousand inch mounting socket. A few strokes with a file fix this. I then had to use a small file to remove a small amount of material to allow the adapter to sit far enough on the post mounting pin for the adapter's sliding pin to lock the post in place. I also had to file some material off the bottom of the adapter to allow the leg to rotate properly on the mounting pin. After doing this, I had to file about half the diameter of the needle from the front of the foot's needle hole to get the needle through the foot. This was the only 9mm seam foot I could find. Is there a good one that fits the standard adapter?
