I bought these pants to wear around the house so I don't have to waste my "good" clothes on a walk, even shopping. The pants aren't just for sitting on the couch or doing housework, and the quality of the material is so comfortable that I even wore them to dinner at the restaurant. They are lightweight but not too thin and have a silky texture far superior to other 'lounge pants' I've bought in the past. They hang nicely, hiding the bulges. There are only two caveats I'd like to point out: they aren't thick enough for very cold weather [fleece would be preferable in very cold or snowy weather] and I would have preferred a partially elasticated waistband, although the drawstring suffices [this is actually that , which I can easily fix as the belt is wide.] In comparison, my 5ft 5in, 100kg and 2X were fine, I didn't have to trim them down with a new hem. I recommend.
