RETURN BUTTONS

we bought every try to find this button bed because we were introduced to this in the hospital it works great and it doesn't. Failing, we decided to try velcro/zip. HATE IT. Seems like that's all they're doing for now after checking their website and I'm half thinking about going back to the hospital and see if they sell us some of the zips. The Velcro is noisy and difficult to open without moderate effort, so good luck trying to gently unfold it for a quick diaper change. The zip has all the disadvantages of a zip (can get snagged, top doesn't fit etc - a little confusing for a battered, frustrated baby stuck in a bed that won't open and shoulders won't open). I wish so much they still had the button down option (to be honest I wouldn't care if they just made it in a neutral color - I'd buy a few anyway). The buttons were easy to unbutton, including the shoulders, and allowed the sleeper to breathe a little. The lack of velcro made the pack easy and quick to adjust. I'm also afraid of the constant wear and tear of the fabric from the two Velcro straps. If anyone knows where else buttoned ones are sold, I'm all ears.

Pros
  • Oversized puck closures allow adjustment for a perfect fit; 3-way adjustable swaddling allows for "hands in" to reduce the startle reflex, "hands in your face" for self-soothing, and "1 or 2 hands out" for an easy transition from swaddling to sleeping bag Halo
Cons
  • Heavy to remember but it was
