We always buy Stride Rite because even kids dress shoes are comfortable. They are perfect for wearing elegantly, but they also make sense as play shoes as long as they don't play in the mud. They fit well, look good and last well. Usually Stride Rite shoes sell well after use, but they don't look clean enough to resell, but they might be good for donations.
