I installed this on my 2008 Hyundai Elantra by removing the cup holder. If you have this car, you can remove the cup holder with a flathead screwdriver. I ripped out the old worn out shift gaiter as it was pinned. I screwed this in and put the coasters back in. Be sure to reset the backstop. Good quality product.
