Real Score Sihuadon R-108 500 Memory FM/MW/SW/LW/Air DSP Receiver

Radio is smaller than expected. The stated size is correct, but until you pick up the radio you won't realize just how compact it is. However, this is good. The tuning method is easy to use with the tuning knob or direct keyboard input. The radio can scan the selected ban and save the frequency automatically. The radio is unique in that it has squelch that allows you to scan memory channels and eliminate noise when listening to a channel. The built-in antenna is easy to use and I really like the fact that you can connect an external antenna. Where can I get an external antenna? Well, the radio comes with an external antenna! Charging is via the USB port on the side of the radio. The battery used is a well-known battery, so it can be easily replaced when the battery is no longer rechargeable. The display is good, but not outstanding. This is because the icons on the display are very small. One reviewer stated that the show was not well received. I didn't think that was true. I am more than 5 miles away from the local airport and at my house I can use the built in antenna to pick up planes flying to the airport. Note that aircraft radios are not designed to communicate over very long distances. If you think that you will get all kinds of transfers from planes or transfers from the airport itself, you will be disappointed. From my testing I have found that the air strap is quite sensitive and works well. My only complaint is that a few reviewers have written about how good the sound is. Although the sound is clear enough, the radio is not loud. I can hear it pretty well on TV if the radio is nearby, but it's not loud. For the money this is a good radio, works well, is compact and fairly easy to use. Be sure to read the instructions, as programming the radio isn't entirely normal, but it's not difficult either. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this radio to anyone wanting to hear the bands it covers.
