I was skeptical at first because of the scent that other reviewers have complained about, but if you're used to old-fashioned natural and herbal products, it doesn't matter. I remember the smell of creams from my childhood. I also applied it to the skin just under my nose to see how it would affect my baby's sensations, but after about a minute I felt nothing. So my worries are gone. I like the texture, it works great. It seems to be expected. Will buy again to use for skiing myself. Even when it's windy and cold, my little one doesn't get red on her face with Mommy Care Balm, although we go for a walk and/or jog every day, regardless of the weather, and she has very sensitive skin. I'm glad I found it as there are very few truly protective baby creams on the market.
