At first they didn't work in my printer (Brother L2550DW) but in the end I got it to print. When I installed the new toner it just said 'replace toner', it wouldn't print or let me access any settings etc. I ended up putting the old toner back in so I could access the settings to see whether I could change or reset something etc., I changed the "toner empty" setting to "continue" instead of "stop" (I assume this tells the printer to try to print even if it thinks the toner is low or empty) and that seemed to solve the problem. It still tells me to replace the toner, but it still prints since the toner is actually new. The print quality seems normal, I only printed a few pieces so I don't know how long it will take. But if it continues to work like this, I think the error message is worth the trade-off in terms of cost savings. Get TWO of these cartridges for less than half the price of ONE original Brother cartridge.**(2 year renewal)**Toner still prints great. I got about 1500 pages with the first toner. I have my second one around 1pm now so I'm re-ordering them to be ready when the next one is ready.
