Review on πŸ•οΈ Grand Trunk Micro Camp Stool: The Perfect Portable, Collapsible Camping Stool for All Your Adventures by Larry Boyd

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Has potential in the right conditions

I bought this primarily for hiking but my first use was for beach camping. I weigh 225 pounds and after sitting in it a few times it finally fell apart. It's hard for me to give a solid review, but if there's one takeaway from this review: don't try it on the beach unless you're willing to shell out the money to use it as props to get a laugh to get. your friends. The bars didn't compress though, so that's a good thing as I was able to salvage or modify them with a cable or strap to keep the sides a constant distance apart. If I had been in the area where this stool was originally intended to be used, it probably would have dug into the ground and held together, but the sand on the beach proved too unstable for this stool to work with. At the end of the day, however, I'd rather carry extra weight than broken gear, so I'll have to weigh that against this stool. Pros: very light, very affordable, decent features, could possibly be your best laugh. Cons: couldn't support my weight for a night, nothing to hold the base on so the legs just folded out to the sides

Pros
  • QUICK AND EASY TO USE - Assemble or disassemble the Grand Trunk stool in seconds without tools; The Grand Trunk Stool's legs connect with internal cord (like tent poles) to make it quick and easy.
Cons
  • Expensive
