I had a shiny fabric. The letters didn't stick. Since the letters and backing were still in place from previous attempts, I turned the fabric over and heated the letters on the back, then turned it over and heated the letters again and waited the magic 2 minutes. . It worked, stick the letters. I couldn't get them to stick any other way. After the battle, the letters look very beautiful!
