I don't like DOT-C2 being applied every 15cm. This makes it very difficult to use as an accent strip. I looked for another quality tape and it turned out that all quality tapes had DOT-C2 printed on them. I'm experimenting with multiple pieces to try to get the effect I want. I think I found that helpful. Removing the backing to expose the adhesive can be difficult without damaging the reflective layer. There is a VERY SIMPLE solution. I use a piece of tape (any) and touch the backing and then peel it back. The protective film is removed immediately without any effort or damage. Attaching to curved objects. Curved objects like a ball won't work, but tubular objects like a bike seatpost "can" be made out of PVC pipe. Stick the reflective tape on the item and then the clear packing tape on top, sticking out over the reflective tape to make a hole. . If you use enough tape to wrap the entire rack/tube it should last a long time. I've tried three layers of clear tape, which doesn't change the reflectivity of that tape, and you could probably use more. I'm still experimenting with using it for accent strips that don't include DOT-C2 printing. BERTAPES has fantastic customer service. .It would be nice if this tape was available without DOT-C2
