I like this lock. This is now my favorite travel lock. The reason is the button on the bottom of the lock. I found this feature VERY USEFUL. In fact, this is the most useful feature. Over the years I have accumulated several different types of TSA approved travel locks. They are all very similar. I set up the same combination and when someone in my family travels, just select the number of locks they need from the drawer and just use them. They all have the same code. The problem with most of these OTHER locks is that I have a hard time unlocking them. They require good eyesight and small hands, which I don't have. For this reason, I limit their use when checking in my luggage on the plane. I don't want to lock/unlock my suitcase every day when I stay at the hotel because it's not easy for me to unlock it. With THAT little lock I find many situations where just inserting a locking cable and not changing the dials (which requires pushing a button on the bottom to open) is very useful and definitely better than just leaving your luggage unlocked. I do this, for example, with my hand luggage when flying. More secure than an unlocked carry-on and much easier for me to unlock - just push a button. I also like the flex cable and the big numbers. I wish it had 4 digits to make it more secure. Let's say someone sees a digit you used, there are only two digit numbers to guess. I initially thought this was a problem, but the button's usefulness outweighs this downside. Also, I don't carry many very valuable items with me. Finally, anything that makes unlocking easier would be nice - like even bigger numbers and better contrast for the numbers.
