Best Baby Essentials

This is a great transitional accessory for toddlers. Around 15 to 18 months, *most* babies start wanting to eat themselves and the people around them. with dishes. Adult cutlery is usually too long and unwieldy for beginners. Many modern ones are made of bulky plastic, the shape of which leaves more in the spoon than in the mouth. One of my kids had trouble going from a plastic toddler spoon and fork to a metal one. It just didn't feel right for her to have something in her mouth that wasn't "bulky." So I'm glad to see it's a thin metal construction. The silicone crabs are adorable and easy for a toddler (not a child) to grab and maneuver in their mouth. Trust me, it's a tough task to learn when it's also about holding food on a spoon or fork! I love that they are all the same color (no extra parts glued or painted).
