No kidding, I bought about 7 beard trimmers in search of the perfect beard trimmer. I've tried all the major brands - Braun, Remington, Wahl, Con-Air and their variations - vacuum, wet/dry, etc. I've definitely had the best luck with the Phillips Norelco brand. In fact, the last two beard trimmers I bought were from the 3500 series. When I saw this beard trimmer for sale on Amazon my first thought was "another beard trimmer that will be good but not great". But I took a chance and bought it anyway. I liked that it shaved 90 minutes cordless and was intrigued by the fact that it has a new sheath that helps lift hair for a smoother, more efficient shave. One of the problems I had with previous beard trimmers was that I had to keep shaving the same areas of my face because the beard trimmer didn't shave all the hairs on the first, second, or even third pass. Well I can tell you with confidence that this beard trimmer has given me the smoothest, smoothest and most efficient shave I have ever had with a beard trimmer. I was so amazed by how much I love this beard trimmer that after using it for the first time last night I decided to write a review the next day - and I am doing so right now. I think when it comes to beard trimmers, the 8th time is the appeal for me. bravo, phillips norelco, bravo, i take my hat off to you.
