Review on 🖋️ Hethrone Fountain Dip Pen - Beginner's Guide to Vintage Calligraphy Pens by Doris Tran

I bought this product because it had the highest recommendations on other top 10 websites. He also had the most unique combination of tips that I've rarely found at Revain. I'm learning calligraphy writing skills for my little thank you letter business. I LOVE advice! I've noticed in some of the reviews here that some people are complaining that the whole set is bad, but I think what they don't understand is that your inks are ONLY as important as the tips and they should work in harmony. If the ink is not of very good quality, it will ruin all your handwriting. Yes, the ink is bad. It's SUPER sticky yet watery, and pigmented so damn it goes EVERYWHERE. It sticks to the top and crumbles as soon as you put it on paper. You can see in my photo that I am demonstrating how well the nibs work with higher quality inks. Walnut ink is amazing. I usually mix it with "pigeon blood" to make it darker (not REAL pigeon blood, that's what the ink is called 😂😅). This set costs well, although the ink is poor (the reason I gave it 4 stars) I would still recommend it based on the nibs, pen and box it comes with. You can always try mixing black ink with other inks and see if that fixes the situation. But in any case, if you buy this set, take a higher quality ink with you.
