I love how they look over the small bistro table in my apartment. They work well, although to me they are more decorative than utilitarian. I'm not sure how long the batteries will last. They're bright enough when I wanted them on for lighting, and the use of a dimmer light keeps the room feeling cozy. I also found that they were easy to install. Very happy with what I use them for. Other people who saw them wondered how I connected them to the wall and when I told them they were battery operated they were very interested in where I got them from. Some didn't even think they made such products! They were very impressed with the look and so was I.
