Bought for my daughter to wear to proms. I took her measurements and according to the seller's size chart, she meant XL. But after reading all the reviews and comparing the measurements with other buyers, I bought the L size. I'm so glad I did because the plus size fits perfectly! Like this dress was made to order for her. I was worried it would be too big in the chest because she is only 36B but it fit perfectly. I found out why this dress suits so many different body types. It's a rebuild! This gives the fabric a lot to give. I think she could be 36DD and still wear a large in that dress! It fits perfectly. We pulled on a petticoat to add volume to the skirt, but in the end she decided she liked the way she draped without it. . Very well done! I went over the dress after steaming the creases (DO NOT iron!) and trimmed a few loose threads that I noticed. Lately I've found that this applies to most clothes, so it didn't really matter to me. This is a beautiful, high quality dress that looks and fits like it was much more expensive! You will not be disappointed!
