Having recently renovated my wood floors I have decided to do what so many others are doing; There are no shoes in the house. I knew it would be inappropriate for most people to bring slippers and asking someone (like a contractor) to take their shoes off might be too much. :-) So I chose them because of the many positive reviews and I'm glad I did; They're great - and they keep my floors clean and scratch-free. They definitely keep the floors clean because when I remove the stain from the floor it only leaves the stain on the towel not the dirt. I have worked in the construction industry and also in a packaging company where shoe covers were needed. I was hoping for the same quality as we could easily wear them for hours on site. I have to say they are very similar to the ones I wore to work. I wouldn't expect them to be waterproof or even water resistant as there's no reason for them to get wet - indoors - and they aren't (I assume they're paper, but very durable). But they are perfect for my needs. There are many of them in the pack, so for such a price they are very profitable! Now I also use them when cleaning my new puppies' kennels so if I step on a "mine" while cleaning it doesn't get on my socks - does the job! Although I think this packaging can last for many years I would buy this brand again.
