It works, but I don't know for how long... fingers crossed.
The size was perfect for my king size duvet. I was also able to conveniently fold three queen size quilts and insert them into one of them. The zippers seem strong. Breathability is ok as I only wear these bags twice a year, from warm Boston summer to cool girls/colder winter/chillier spring and back again. And they fit and store well on the deep top shelves in my closet - the handles were essential for gripping, lifting etc and seem sturdy for this type of weight.
