Review on Madison Park Essential Madeline Cozy Bed in a Bag Comforter with Bonus 2 Complete Sheet Set: Cal King, Purple 16 Piece by Melanie Jones

The sheets on this one are quite thin. I love that it comes with multiple sets, but they're kind of an ultra thin material that isn't that soft when it touches your skin and breaks easily over time. They also need to be changed more frequently. The pillowcases are also a little thin, but that's not a big deal, and they're pretty comfortable on pillows. The overlays are mostly decorative, they look a bit thicker and much higher quality. The duvet from this set looks great on a guest bed, it's quite soft and comfortable but the threads came off after the first wash. It also has threads that pull it throughout the blanket in some places. Some threads in these places are also torn. I like the set as a bed in a bag and for quick storage on a guest bed, but I don't like the quality for the price. This is not a $126 set of sheets. It's more like a bed in a $30 bag, and it shows if you pay close attention. The purple tones and patterns make up for that a bit, but are just plain disappointing. Aesthetically, it's nice to have a bed that's used seldom or even for one night in a pinch, but I don't see it as an everyday item. I've washed the sheet normally and dried it on a high heat with no further damage, but I can't imagine it lasting overtime. The duvet is too big for a normal washing machine and you need Big Boy to wash it. I steamed mine to show but I have other comforters for the bed in the winter. Somehow that broke.
