The phone works well, connects easily to the base station. We like the intercom feature as it saves a lot of going up and down stairs and the hold feature isolates the call when paging. Range and battery life seem to be good, the sound is sufficient. This is essentially the only thing holding it back from 5 stars; the sound is just right. It's a bit tinny, and there are times when it's not full duplex, but the other side partially mutes when I'm speaking. It's not a big problem, but it lacks perfection.
