I bought this item to add honey to my tea in the morning. It kind of leaks under the lid and honey spills down the sides. I cleaned it by running it under hot water and yet the next morning you can see a trickle of honey around the rim of the jar. I put it in a saucer and it fills the bottom of the saucer with honey. The lid is so tight that I can't get it off with my bare hands. It's almost like magic how the honey escapes.
