Review on πŸ‘Ά ENSSU Baby Hair Clippers: Quiet and Sensory-Friendly Trimmers for Kids with Sensitivity. Cordless, Waterproof, and Professional Cutting Kits for Infants. by Rachel Coppedge

Worked wonders for our son's sensory disorder.

Our five year old has autism and sensory processing disorders, getting a haircut has always been a very difficult task. Typical trimmers with cords and noisy motors made him very depressed and traumatized. Until we bought this product, cutting hair was a collaborative effort between my husband and I. Every haircut was about doing his best to be quick and efficient with my husband's trimmer while our son screamed, shook, kicked, punched and went into a completely overexcited meltdown. When he first tried this product, he was curious. There is a noise, but it sounds more like the hum of a child's toy than the sound of a trimmer motor. It has a soft appeal that made our son not only want to hold it, but also to help when we cut his hair. We went from a typical haircut that was a traumatic experience to a haircut that actually helped with the job. It creases a little near the neck and ears but I was able to make the cut myself while my husband looked after our two year old. I was even able to use the trimmer directly on his skin without attachments to do his neck and ears and he didn't even cry. My husband and I give this product rave reviews and recommend it to anyone caring for a child with sensory disabilities or special needs. I would even recommend a store with it for young children who are usually shy and scared of the normal buzzer. That's great. We've yet to test the waterproof claim, but USB charging works great and the trimmer handled my son's shaggy, thick hair with ease and in one go. Good product!
