Great stand for your TT but no cable holes

I bought this stand as a compact way to place my turntable (top) and vinyl below. For the money, this item packs a lot of value in a stylish mid-century look. The instructions were well done and clear. No problems setting up alone. The company also provides a lot of information on sizing and load capacity, which I estimated based on the weight of my gear. The only real downside is that it doesn't offer an adjustable base or leveling feet, but that's fine as my TT has adjustable feet. . The biggest problem is that there are no cable holes behind the top shelf. I put my amp and CD player on this top shelf, but ended up using a hole saw to pull the wires through. Ultimately, I could live with that, but that begs the question. If it's an audio rack, what about the cabling?

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine
