I like that you can stick a bright LED in and get a nice bright light. It doesn't flicker like other more expensive lights we've installed elsewhere. In terms of installation, our electrician hardwired it but he didn't seem to have a problem with it. The glass pieces seem to have "moved" or loosened a bit, perhaps from the heat of the light? All of this is not visible because the light is so bright. Because the call to the electrician is so expensive we keep it and so far have been quite happy with the price.
