For reference, I own a CrossFit gym. The Coach brand has always been the standard sports band I compare myself to. This tape is a little softer (good thing the edges don't cut in when you tape your wrists). It also doesn't stick to itself that well (not a big problem, just the corners peel off after a while). Most athletes in the gym don't notice or care much about the difference. I bought it on sale. and would buy it again at the sale price. Since the regular price is about the same as Coach, I would continue to use Coach at full price.
