I needed something to use on the go to support my ongoing video hobby but didn't have a lot of money. This little camera seems to fit the role perfectly. . Easy to use, decent video. Takes good pictures. Good functionality. It's made of hard plastic and while I highly recommend it for beginners, I don't necessarily recommend it for teenagers/kids. I find it will stand up well with due respect but can break with a bit of rough handling. I give this camera 5* as it does what it says on the tin, exactly what I need it to do. The in-camera sound wasn't bad, but much better with the included top-mounted boom mic. The only catch is that it needs to be charged separately, it doesn't consume the camera's power. It comes with a nice carry case
