Finally an alternative to attach magnetic safety lights to an aluminum Ford F-150 without having to constantly drill holes in the cab. There are no written instructions included with the light, just a map directing you to a website for installation or an online video about Revain, which is a Chevy truck, not a Ford installed with the metal plating already applied, making it difficult to tighten the 1/8 hex head screws when installing the plastic case. After installation, the bulbs and cables must be completely removed from the 3rd brake light and pulled out through the new housing. The hardest part was getting access to the two bolts holding the fuselage to the roof. Unfortunately it's not a straight shot so I had to use a 7/16 ratchet socket to tighten the screws, then put the 3 bulbs back into the lens and finally tighten the 4 screws. The contour of the hull and the included foam pads fit snugly to the cabin and prevent water intrusion. Only time will tell if the brake light's plastic housing will survive the Arizona summer.
