I have about 30 pairs of DC, I usually choose a form of DC Pure. I tried them and noticed a few differences. The toe tapers off quickly, so if you have a big little toe, it rubs. My solution was to stretch the shoes to open up that area. Additionally, as the shoe tapers, the seam and stitch line land squarely on the big little toe. So it contributes to the annoyance of the tapered toe. The shoe is thinner than the typical Pure in every way. They look good from all angles, but I've found that my typical size 11 is a bit tighter on this shoe. Not enough to send them back, but enough to feel the big toe hitting the front end from time to time. Anywhere, I'll keep them. They look good compared to classic soft DC skate shoes.
