Don't know how to rate this

No quality control issues. You have to buy the most expensive model to get the available ports. The cheaper model only has two USB-C ports, and one of those has to be used for power, so there's only one port, which is pretty pathetic. My cheap Windows laptop had an HDMI port, 3 USB ports, and a separate power cord entry. If you're going to connect your MacBook to a monitor, I highly recommend a USB-C pluggable charging station. Don't buy those super cheap USB hubs, you won't be happy about how terribly hot they get. They say the keyboard is great, but it doesn't feel special to me, so the previous model's keyboard must have been pretty bad. I love the trackpad, the MacBook has the best trackpads. I don't like the touchpad. It is much easier to adjust the volume or brightness of the monitor by holding the FN key and pressing the key at the same time. glossy MacBook screens. In other countries, matte screens with anti-reflective coatings are the standard for computers, making them easier to see without glare. Laptop PC pixels are more than enough for a 13 inch screen. These Macs have worse battery life because they have so many pixels to manage. But of course the colors are great. There's no denying that this is a great screen, but not necessarily the most practical screen. It does a lot less weird stuff than my windows laptop. But still not entirely flawless. But the biggest mistake Mac makes is its incompatibility with all the software you want to use. Not only does it obviously not work with Windows software, but it also doesn't work with older Mac software like Microsoft Office 2011. And since this is (possibly) the latest Intel MacBook, that means there's going to be a whole host of future software, which doesn't work on this one. Battery life is pretty good, it can last a full workday unless that work involves Zoom meetings with video. Zoom meetings with video consume battery power. Still my all-time favorite laptop, but I'm annoyed that I can't use Office 2011.

Pros
  • Up to 10 hours of battery life
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
