Without a doubt these are the best headphones I have ever bought. I love them for the cables, the sound and the durability! I've had this pair for a year and a month now (purchased April 2016) and they still work despite being rough on my headphones. They are always in my bag, in my headphone bag, in my bag, in my jacket pockets, everywhere, and sometimes they shake when hitting objects or being used while running at the gym. I fold them over with three fingers and considering how many times I've done this it's absolutely amazing that they still work and the sound doesn't fade or break. There is a mic that I use to call people and it still works fine. Just press the button once to end a call or pause/play music. Of all the pairs I've had, this is the only one with a 135-degree headphone jack instead of a 90-degree or 0-degree jack (which aren't really great for long runs), and that's probably the reason for that Sound still works after so long since the headphone jack design withstands little testing. The wood and metal finishes look amazing and protrude from my ears in a peculiar way that tends to awe and compliment many people. Bass sound is definitely boosted, which I like, and the noise-cancellation works well - I can tune into anyone in a busy or noisy environment (not 100%, but still pretty good). They came with a cute little pouch and 6 pairs of tips (which came in handy as one fell out and I needed a replacement). The cables are really nice and covered in plastic and they don't get tangled very easily (although after so much wear and tear they do loosen up a bit and get tangled up more easily). Almost double the price of a regular pair of Skullcandy (one is about $10, the other is about $20 and I had both), this product is amazing and exceeded my expectations. With the Skullcandy, I was only able to own a pair for about a month or two before it broke or started to fail, but the Symphonized buds have stuck with me even though I treat them horribly roughly. I would definitely buy a couple or more for birthday gifts and maybe a 3.0 to see how it improves.
