I like these socks. I am glad I purchased them on a lightning deal sale. The regular price for 5 pair I don’t think I’d feel like I got my money’s worth. The material is soft. The colors are pretty & wear well with a mixture of clothing. They look better in person than what is shown in the descriptive picture. The descriptive picture reflects different shades as well. I am happy with the shades I received. I hope my picture gives you a better idea. I do like the length of them. Not totally at mid calf but close to it if you pull them up all the way. My foot is size 10 & they fit me comfortably. The piece in the advertising for the solid colored socks, if you look at the written description better, is that there isn’t any type of wool fabric in these socks. The material is acrylic. It explains the stretch. The headline reads "wool” socks but this depends on what style you choose. If you read further down in the details more you’ll see this. This is why I rated them a 4 star. Yes some warm but not a cotton or wool type of warmth. Their washing instructions are wash or hand wash & hang to dry. I’m not hanging socks to dry. I washed these on cold & dried them regularly & they appeared the same as the did when I put them in the washer. So overall good but interesting information if you do decide to purchase the solid colors. A nice Christmas gift.
