just arrived today. The left boot feels surprisingly tighter than the right boot with bursitis. I'm not sure if it's due to the deep healing blister on my Achilles tendon, but it's a bit concerning. * I don't think 9.5 would be better either. I recently bought a pair of Thorlos socks to wear with it. Not sure if they will be worn this week (unfortunately) due to the tight heel. The pain will only cause more discomfort as the day progresses, from the funeral home to the grave and back again. Swelling is a constant in the sweltering heat and excruciating humidity that characterize Florida life. I was hoping for something wonderful judging by the reviews. Just standing here in my house causes hot spots in them, pain in my Achilles heel and pain in the sole of my right heel. They should have lasted at least 5-6 hours comfortably: now 15 minutes and I have to take them off. Not good. *PLUS: Paid $44 plus change for size 9. Size 9.5 is $75 without change. NO WAY are these shoes worth both prices.
