I have used other activated charcoal products in the past. They came in a jar, had to be scooped out (it's a mess everywhere!) and were filled with fragrance. That is different. This charcoal bar is super easy to use, doesn't leave a lot of mess, doesn't have a strong odor, and works better than anything I've tried on my extremely sensitive skin. I use 2 times a day. It cleans my face very well. I have very smooth skin and my pores are tight! I add some face lotion after use and it's done. No more makeup! I don't think my skin has been this good in my entire life! It has worked well for me to cure perimenopausal acne and then prevent it. Major advantage!
