Unwashable bed is useless

Just received a few days ago. It had an odd smell so I wanted to wash it before my kid used it. I'll double check if it's washable as I remembered reading it was. According to the information, it can be washed. Photos or what I found in my washing machine after washing on the gentle cycle. I think it's safe to say that it can't be washed, making it useless for a pet bed.
