I really liked this plush blanket. The roll-up Velcro made it easy to store and transport to the nursery. The inserts in the pillow made it soft and comfortable for my baby. The soft and light material made it nice and cozy for my little one, who, by the way, sweats even in the slightest heat. The colorful and cute design encourages baby to take a nap or at least pretend to look at little whales with a smiley face. Very useful when sleeping. There is no clasp to attach it when my kid is using it. Instead, it hangs outside of the crib and sticks to whatever it can. Unfortunately they can't stick it to the crib to keep the duvet in place, but it happens. The biggest concern was when my little one was wearing stockings and the velcro on her stockings caught and ripped a huge hole in her new pair of stockings. If you said it was my fault for the bad planning, then fine. No stockings in kindergarten! But another problem was that the fabric wasn't sewn tight. There are a few loose threads here and there and after a couple of washes the trimmings come off. Now you can't blame the washing machine because I still have a few blankets from other companies that have been reused for a year or two with no problems with stray or loose threads. I probably would have chosen a different brand, knowing that this probably wouldn't even be the last summer school, but would be left alone for the whole school year.
