I had the previous model and although it was very useful it was sometimes impractical to carry in a backpack or suitcase. The new rounded design solves this problem. So far everyone who sees it wants one. I read a review where someone said that a black version would be nice in addition to white and I agree. Just in case, I had already stolen one of the two I bought. Obviously someone wanted this so badly and they felt the need to trade and sacrifice their morals and ethics to have one of these for themselves. The weird thing is that I probably would have given them this if they'd asked me. There was a small but annoying issue with the USB ports on/off button. Sometimes I had to press the button twice to activate it. It was sporadic, but it bothered me a little. The Anker rep wanted me to have nothing less than a perfect product experience, and of course I agreed. Even though they were late the representative did everything possible to ensure I had a replacement as soon as they became available. I want every product and every company to be as good as Anker.
