Review on ๐Ÿ”จ Durable White Pegboard 2-Pack by Azar 770820: Organize and Display in Style by Nick Kirschenmann

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lots of different uses but takes some ingenuity

I bought two packs of Azar Pegboard Wall Panels with the intention of mounting them horizontally as a continuous board for jewelry storage/display of 8" x 40" items in my dressing room. I used the simplest way to attach the panels: using 2" screws (and anchors where needed) directly through the corner holes at the top of each panel. So I sacrificed 4 dowel holes but it really made hanging the panels a lot easier and the result is extremely strong and holds quite a bit of weight. I've found that unfortunately I can't insert the J hooks into the top row of holes because the tip of the curved pin that secures the top half of seemingly all J hooks on the back is too long - it rests on molded rim plate . This caused me to reconsider my original plan of just using J-Hooks, but I'm still very happy with the results. I have quite a large collection of necklaces with matching earrings that I've accumulated over the years, and after buying a few inexpensive kraft paper cards, I hung 40 sets of earrings and necklaces on J-hooks (long necklaces hang on hooks) in a checkerboard pattern ). up to 20" below the bottom of the railing I installed at eye level). Due to the inability to install J hooks in the top row, I chose to leave the top 2 rows of holes blank. For now, but I plan to fill them with 1/4" x 2" grooved studs to hang earrings or maybe even bracelets on. (If anyone has better ideas on what might work better email me. I was thinking of mini shaker stud earrings but they are too wide and the heads are too big to fit most of the earring wire.) I am very happy with the result so once i know where to put it i want to order a second set of these panels so i can hang more decorations and other accessories. The panels are relatively small but contain 160 holes each, offering great compact storage potential. So why only 4 stars you ask? Well I feel like it's a bit overpriced for what you actually get and there aren't really any instructions to speak of. Even if there were only about 1/4 inch of extra space around the outer rows of holes, you would have wasted less space and could actually use those holes to insert all kinds of hooks (including those made by Azar himself that aren't in the top row it doesn't seem to work for the above reasons). to really confuse a lot of people but other than those relatively minor issues this is a really useful product and I would definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Panel Thickness: .125"
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
