I was glad to know that you don't really have to buy it.
I originally bought this for my little sister for Christmas but another brother bought her the same one so I kept it. I was happy to learn that you don't actually need to buy duvet filling unless you want a hard, warm duvet. I live in Texas so it's very easy to get warm or just get warm. Maybe if we ever have a legal Texas winter again I'll consider buying an indoor blanket. The material is very soft and washes well without losing color :D
