I'm really impressed and surprised how soft these finger pads are. They are perfect for covering up a cut on your finger when you need to keep it clean or sterile and do dirty work. I could print them out and do everything I normally do without them. For reference, I put the same on my husband's finger. You can see that he has big hands and if necessary he goes to the base of the fingers. My nail doesn't show through at all and that's normal. I don't try to hide my nails. Because of this, you can see how opaque finger coatings are. I keep them in my first aid kit because I have a mechanic husband who works part time as a chef and his fingers are cut in some way.
