For the price, you can't beat the quality. I like that the cabinets are so deep inside. It's good to save so much. We have a long narrow bathroom so we ordered two. Only one showed up and when we called they tried to track down the other closet but never found it. We were reimbursed for another closet and had to order a new one. It's not their fault it got lost in shipping and I really enjoyed their customer service who was kind and helpful. I would say the cabinets look black to me. The shelves are fixed, so not adjustable. For me this is not critical, since there is a lot of storage space. We looked around at the big local stores and couldn't find anything we liked at a reasonable price. We believe these cabinets offer good value for money. We've been using it for a few months now with no problems. Updated May 14, 2016. Added a photo of the inside so you can see the size of the three non-adjustable shelves. They are deep and you can put a lot of items on the shelves. The only issue might be the height as only one shelf is tall.
