It's definitely too big. I had to hem 2 inches on each side for it to fit. About halfway through the Renaissance Afternoon Mass, the girdle began to curl up at the sides. This is normal for an item that is used occasionally, but is not recommended for daily or regular use. If you are a tall person who usually has to buy twice as much clothing to fit in online clothing shopping, DO NOT do this, maybe even a little less.
