These lamps are great. I've read some reviews that they burn out the moment you screw them in. It's not always the pears' fault. When the bulbs blew out, in my case I had a faulty wire. So check that first before blaming the lightbulb. None of them broke and I've had one in my salt lamp 24/7 (I never turn it off) since I received it and it's a perfect 15 watts warm and glowing. I waited a bit before checking it out as I heard they were short lived but so far so good. I'll update when it empties quickly. I liked the instruction not to touch with your fingers but to use a napkin and also be careful not to touch the walls of the lamp. These are things that can lead to burnout. UPDATE: 10 months later, the first lightbulb I put in my salt lamp has died for good. That's serious longevity! You deserve more than 5 stars! :)
